Colchester East Hants Regional Hospital

This new 124 bed, 348,000 sf, acute care hospital is being developed by the Colchester East Hants Health Authority to replace the existing facility in Truro. This will be the first LEED accredited hospital built in Nova Scotia.

Duncan MacMillan Nursing Home

This new 32 bed licensed nursing home will replace the existing facility located on the same site.

Northwood Continuing Care Centre

The Northwood Continuing Care Centre is a LEED Certified state of the art 148,000 sf, 156 bed licensed long term facility providing a unique home-like atmosphere to it's residents and staff.

Twin Oakes / The Birches - New Link and Wheel Chair Lift
Location: Musquodoboit Harbour, NS
Client: The Birches - Capital District Health Authority
Eastin Role: General Contractor
Completed: 2008

Capital Health initiated this project to construct a 200 linear ft covered walkway between The Birches Retirement Facility and the Twin Oakes Hospital, plus a new wheel chair lift. This addition will facilitate the movement of staff and services between these two buildings.

Northwood Renovation Program

This was an extensive renovation program at Northwood's Senior's Care Complex in Halifax. Program included nine seperate projects all completed while the complex was occupied and fully operational.
